Collaboration: The Princess Clichè Deluxe

The princess clichè is an episode made by the original creator of SMBX, redigit.
It also quickly got popular as it was a pre-installed episode in 1.3.0.1 as well as all betas of SMBX2.

However,
The Princess Clichè is also rather controversial among the SMBX community as of now due to its flaws, most notably the random difficulty spike that is its final boss fight.
For this reason, I'd like to pitch an idea to you:

The Princess Clichè Deluxe

This would be a remake of the original The Princess Clichè for SMBX2 Beta 4, utilizing its various additions as well as re-adding the four scrapped levels, adding a star counter for each level to make completion less tedious and adding a Bowser's castle stage. Of course, the final boss would also receive an overhaul.

Would you be interested into a project like this, made as a collaboration?

I think a completely original project of similar scope and tone would be more interesting.

Maybe, instead of starting in the good old grasslands, maybe it would start in a different place, like a vacation paradise. (Sunshine reference) or possibly it would be a location reversal with Mario losing to Bowser at the start because he somehow got stronger and he would begin from Dark Land, to different areas and come back when he gets enough stars or so.

I mean that's all 'whatever' when it comes to what I said, really. The difference I'm talking about is remaking cliche vs making a project akin to cliche with new levels.

This is generally a good idea, but this project idea was mostly meant as a response to various finished or WIP The Invasion 2 remakes and also as a way to give newer players a way to play this episode without the stupidly hard final boss fight.

Fair assessment. I think remakes or reimaginings of TI2 are just as boring ;p
