Has anyone ever played an obscure game that hardly anyone knows about?

Well, one of those games I've played was Jumper, which I believe was only known by Super Meat Boy

Loads. Take it from someone who owns a PS Vita.

My favourites include:
- IA/VT -COLORFUL- (Japan only vocaloid rhythm game)
- Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (A Dragon Quest spinoff nothing like the Heroes musous that existed later on, it's a tower defense platforming game)
- 7th Dragon III (Dungeon RPG series from SEGA, the 3DS game was the only one to officially come out in English)

Played a game called Hammerwatch, it has really good pixel graphics, a killer soundtrack and has fun gameplay if you're into hack and slash dungeon crawlers.
