I wish there was a way to turn off the patched camera- I have never been so disoriented while playing a mario game

Completed the episode. My review:

How can something so technically impressive be so unfun at the same time :(

+ Lua wizardry at work
+ Beautiful graphics
+ Props to the porters at SMWC
+ Reznor is a fun awesome boss
+ No lives
+ Fast death
+ Short, don't have to deal with the negatives for too long

- Unusual physics, Mario slows down in midair making sections where you spinjump on horizontally moving things harder than they need to be (+ this can be turned off though)
- Unusual camera, particularly disorienting in the vertical section of the castle (can't be turned off)
- A few obstacles in lotus and train are easier to tank a hit through than to complete the normal way
- Black rotating platforms in sky move in an unintuitive way
- Checkpoint fakeout in not so watery is very mean, I went through the pipe before the midpoint had time to emerge from the launcher
- Dragon coin 2 in train is too hidden
- Dragon coin 3 in train is unreactable, and to try to get it again you have to play the entire second half again
- Ice flower graphic not present in train (for some reason? shouldnt the powerup graphics be episode-wide?)
- Vertical camera in castle is awful and disorienting
- Kamek boss unintuitive, player never sure what to do damage to or whether or not their hits are connecting
- Kamek boss phase # of hits inconsistent
- Kamek gives no warning before vanishing, causing occasional unavoidable death by pit

Aren't dragon coins supposed to be optional though. That's not really a con imo, more of a nitpick.

I started playing this last night and it's a very creatively designed episode, I'm enjoying it so far. It has quite the challenge (died 24 times at the first level lol), but that's the most fun part about it.

The SMW graphics, small resolution and music selection are also great. You did a lot of good job, you consider yourself slow at level design but that's the key for making better stuff.

Pretty good, but i was playing as Luigi and on the second level his climbing sprite isn't present.

A new patch has been released, primarily focused on updating the game for Beta 5. Changes:
- The episode now uses the new resolution setting feature! It is recommended to manually adjust the window to a suitable size after the game starts/after changing the screen mode setting. The original, bordered screen modes are still available as an option.
- Fixed a bug introduced in Beta 5 that caused the Reznor boss to not spawn properly, thereby making that secret exit impossible.
- Fixed a bug introduced in Beta 5 that caused you to be unable to punch fences.
- Fixed an error that would happen if a spike is killed in the final level.
- Fixed the rain sound effect being missing in the final level.
- Thanks to Beta 5, the slowdown in the final boss is finally fixed.
- The warp after the checkpoint in the water level is now disabled until the checkpoint has appeared.
- Made several small adjustments to levels, mostly for making them work better with the new resolution.
