An episode with a good sense of exploration?

Do you know an episode with a good sense of exploration, like, alternate paths, secret exits, optional stars to collect, etc., but without too many gimmics/custom assets?
Something like The Invasion 2 but a little bit more features and custom assets

I'm working on something like that, because if you want something done right you better do it yourself. I don't really know any that are like that, but maybe browse on YouTube or something among really popular ones to see because that's what I do.

But to answer this before a mod moves this, Grant Atlus by stageleft is the maze-iest episode to exist (and one of the largest), and my favorite one too!

I'm currently working on an episode that does offer a good sense of exploration. Despite some levels that are pretty linear.
