Ruins Over the Relaxed River ( SMB2 level!)

This level is old, I decided post now, is in smb2 style ( is rare I make levels in this style). Please, any errors, let me know!! :)

I like how dark and gloomy it looks. Definitly would play if SMBX worked. 10/10 would play.

I really liked this level. The SMB1 and SMB2 graphics were very well matched, and the design is decent.
However, I do not understand why you put Fire Flowers in the level. Especially because most NPCs do not die by fire balls, looks a joke. Other than that, I don't seen another major defect in the level. Good work!

Okay, so I played over this level, and here is my review.

Ruins Over The Relaxed River - Shinbison-Kof


Graphics: 10/10

There are only three words to describe the graphics for this level. "I", "Love" and "It". These were really beautiful graphics, and they went extremely well with your style. I really felt relaxed playing this level. Fantastic! I was really glad I played this level.

Enemies/Placement: 7.5/10

Sadly the enemies are what drag this level down. The Hoopster on the first vine of the level disappears if it goes off the screen. As well as there is a dragon coin that is smothered in enemies. Ninji's, a Lotus, a Cobrat and even an endless pit. That's way too much..as you're bound to get hurt or die there. I'd suggest removing the pit, or the cobrat, as the Lotus adds just the right amount of difficulty.

Style/Asthetics: 9.5/10

I forgot what I said here...half because this laptop overwrote it...half because I was too busy staring at your fantastic level. Seriously this level raised the bar. I can't say anything more, as this level is a perfect 10..however... there is large amounts of lag. If this lag was any worse it would be unplayable.. that's a half point on that, however it's an easy fix.

Items/.etc: 10/10

Items were great. I really liked using the "over the level" to get the first dragon coin. I also really loved how you dipped into newer generations of Mario, but using the pow block to make one of the coins fall. Very well done.


Overall: 8.975/10

Overall I really loved this level. I can't say much more than that. This level should be in the best section, however... the enemies and the lag are where it drops. They are/should be easy fixes, so go out and get that 10 back! Very, very well done. I look forward to playing more of your levels.
