(Help) Update Checker not working

Usually, it's perfectly fine, but recently, this, and other similar functions aren't working. What could be my issue? A similar issue is also happening with another of the programs on my PC. As a result, it can easily be presumed that the two are correlated.

What do you mean by "not working"? The update checker won't display anything if there are no updates available.

I mean "red error text" not working (not an error log!)
