Honestly, most of these look poorly drawn. You should also not use 1x1 pixels since SMBX's graphics all use 2x2 pixels.

It's probably just a style they're trying out, but the items and bgos do look a little out of place with the ground, the borders for the mushrooms and plants aren't as thick as the borders for the platforms either
