I haven't written about them as they are new characters, and I also know they aren't in earlier SMBX editions.

My favorite character in SMBX is Link, though I prefer Bowser Jr. (played in the same style as Link) because he can destroy certain enemies that would otherwise be more difficult for other characters (including bosses) and bounce over spikes. Other favorites include Rosalina (favorite Mario character, gliding ability), Samus (can shoot down those annoying Rinkas), Peach (hover ability), and Toad (certain powerups have unique abilities).

Why is this not in general?

Also my favorite is Mario, from a gameplay perspective. The others don't feel right somehow.

My favorite SMBX character used to be Toad, because I kinda had a thing for Toads at some point in time, and also Toadette used to be one of my favorite Mario characters, but I've been drifting over to Peach too.

But really, even before knowing that, I always LOVED Luigi, he is the best bro. in my opinion. Otherwise, Toad because of BRAZILLIAN TOAD'S LINES in SUPER MARIO BROS. SHOW (In an episode that, for some reason, Peach turns to baby Peach: English = Please stop crying! [...] That oughta keep her quiet! Brazillian Portuguese to English: FOR GOD'S SAKE, STOP! [...] If I'm lucky, she will finally shut up!)
