I chose my vote for you correctly, I have my reasons, and I'm not going to back out of it.

Fuck, I apologize for doing this this far within the poll but I'm gonna drop out of the election. It'd be dumb to re-start the poll so you guys should pick another candidate in replacement for me. I didn't really think this through enough but I guess I'm just not interested in any staff position again, maybe one day but not now. I also think someone NEW should have a chance moderating here since I've practically been a mod at every big SMBX forum. So in short:
I drop out of the election and I'd suggest all who have voted for me to pick another candidate in replacement for me
Sorry to all my supporters and to Joey since the poll might be fucked up if no one really changes their vote for me in the end. Spread the word though.

I voted for Magician, Natsu, Yoshibrothers, and 8bitmushroom. Also, why do you HAVE TO DROP OUT REGHRHRE? And calm down.

Did you even read my post? And I replied in huge letters just so people will notice the main purpose of my post.
EDIT: Whelp, someone reset the poll, that's the only reason why I wanted people to choose someone else. Sorry about that guys

I voted for myself and Blueoak this time. Upon further consideration, he seems great for the job.

I'm really tired of your attitude. If you read reghrhre's post, you would know he doesn't want to be staff member anymore. And reghrhre isn't mad, he is trying to make people understand
why.

Did Chad and reghrhre refuse? Anyway, for those that are curious, I voted for Magician, Natsu, Raster, Yoshibrothers and Pseudo-dino. Good luck to the candidates.

I'm only casting one vote.
I guess I could vote for myself as well, but naaah.
I don't think this is so much of a popularity contest as some people are saying. The staff have the right to veto any vote, should they deem it necessary. I expect this process will go more in terms of staff selecting among the best nominations and that the votes themselves would be taken into consideration rather than being automatically the final result. How strong that consideration would be by degrees I do not know. Regardless, I don't think it's a bad thing. The election is supposed to be fun, not upsetting.
Right now I'm placing the most value on the characteristics of passion, friendliness and the capacity to learn. I can see DarkMatt being a great moderator but I'd like to see someone else take the chance at a learning experience among a staff team as capable as this one is. I would take the opportunity, if given, to prove that I can do better than I could accomplish at SMBXR, but I think Pseudo-dino getting the chance instead would be just dandy.
EDIT: Also I'm sorry; I really need to check the dang URL before I post. I keep getting here from the search engine.

I can already see the top 5 there. This pool shows why you need friends or maybe people who you adore.

I don't think that's a valid reason to vote someone. I voted people because I think they'd be good mods.

Natsu is at the top with 19 votes, but I doubt it's because he has 19 friends. I didn't vote for Natsu because he's my friend, but because I consider him as a really capable moderator. Even if there might be a little bias to this poll, I'm certain we will get a capable global moderator there.

Whatever though.
This currently might be the top 5
1. Natsu
2. Blueoak
3. Pseudo-Dino
4. Magician
5. Yoshibrothers
Also strange how Nien has only 4 votes now and yet when it was created Nien reached pretty high

If you were around at the time when Nien was moderator, you'd understand why he got so many votes before the poll was resetted. Those were merely joke votes. I'm pretty certain that the majority that voted for Nien wasn't actually serious about their vote.

Yeah it was, that's pretty weird. I voted for you and myself again, by the way.
