[Powerup] Cape Feather

Hello! I've made a cape feather that's pretty accurate to the original. Enjoy!

You must have anotherpowerup.lua by Enjl installed for this to work properly. You can download it here.
(Please note that anotherpowerup does, at the moment, have a few issues, mostly regarding the item box and Link.)

Preview: show

Compatible characters:

Download! (v1.01)

How to install: show
1. Download both this and Enjl's anotherpowerup.
2. Unzip anotherpowerup and place all of the files from its "Scripts" folder into your level/episode folder.
3. Unzip this and place it into your level/episode folder.

All should be up and running.

This is it. The best thing that will ever be posted in the forums.
Fantastic work!!

I don't know what you're getting paid but you need a raise!
But for real, excellent work! I've been wanting a proper accurate cape feather in SMBX since 2010! This is a dream come true. :D

The cape is amazing! I've been playing around with it for a bit and am loving it. I'm sure we'll be seeing a number of precision cape flying skill levels soon.

I did notice that when starting the level with the cape power-up, Mario's sprite started in the ground and the cape appeared to hover in it's standard position where Mario should be standing. When in running and flying animation, Mario's sprite position appeared as normal. Mario's pixel offset appears to be a block-length to the right and a block down (~32 pixels both directions).

This seems like an anotherpowerup issue.

Hopefully I can get a fix for that into anotherpowerup within the next couple of days...

Is it normal that if I hit a ? block containing a SMB3 Fire flower, I get an error? If I click OK, the cape keeps working and I can collect the fire flower. This is really annoying..

Seems to be a problem with anotherpowerup.lua

This is cool!

Is this compatible with the P-Balloon?

Could you elaborate? That gives me absolutely nothing to go off of.

Good Job! I recommend you do the Boomerang Flower next.

I was testing out your Cape Feather script, and when I try to collect a Fire Flower, this error keeps popping up.
I don't know where to find that missing script in the error for this power up, since it's not included in the Cape Feather's folder.

Not a missing file issue (not sure where that was from), just an issue with anotherpowerup at the moment. A fix should hopefully be coming soon-ish.

I placed everything in my episode folder and nothing has changed. Not sure what I'm doing wrong
