Our favorite entomophobic water-type pokemon gym leader (and many a millenial otaku's very first romantic crush <3 ) is getting her own episode in SMBX! YAY!

This is a game I've wanted to make for 20 YEARS! I've wanted to make a platformer starring Misty ever since I first got a crush on her when I was 14 years old. If you love platformers, like me, and you're a fan of Misty, like I was, you should find this episode pretty enjoyable.

Plot:

That dastardly trio of Jessie, James and Meowth have stolen Togepi! Nothing will stop Misty from rescuing her baby pokemon, not even an archipelago full of bugs!

Other info:

The episode is modded with Lua to play like the Adventure Island series, meaning you can't stomp on enemies like usual, and in fact you can't fight back at all until you either pick up a toy mallet or get a pokemon of your own to use.

For those curious about length, the episode has 6 worlds of 4 levels each.

Jokes aside this doesn’t look bad from the screens alone, let’s see if the game itself plays well.

An episode themed around one of the well known Pokemon characters, and enemies/allies being also themed around Pokemon. I'll give this episode a try!

Juan was one of my banes of existence in Emerald. I still dread his Kingdra spamming Double Team and Water Pulse.
