Wish me luck. Gym Leader Candice is really tough.

For those who doesn't know what a Nuzlocke is, it is a special type of Pokémon gameplay made by fans with those rules:

- You must catch only the first Pokémon of each section (Example: you can catch a Pokémon in Mt. Coronet BF1 and in BF2)
- If a Pokémon faints, it DIES, and cannot be used again.
- You must nickname your Pokémon to get attached to it.
- You officially lose a Pokémon Nuzlocke if all your Party Pokémon (the 6 Pokémon you carry) die, even if you have Pokémon in your box.

Clauses:
- Dupes: If you find a Pokémon that you already have or from the same evolutionary family, you have another chance of catching Pokémon. If all Pokémon on the route were Pokémon you already catched, you can store the chance. Pokémon like Eevee and Ralts can be exceptioned from those rules because of branched evolutions.
- Shiny: If you find a Shiny Pokémon (a 1/8192 special coloration of Pokémon), you can ignore the first rule.

Good Luck kid! And I'm pretty sure some of us SMBX members knows how Pokémon Nuzlockes works. I should know, I'm doing one on Emerald version on the Gameboy Advance (I'm stuck at the 4th gym as of now! welp!)

custom rules I made up: show

• You can teach your Pokémon team members only 1 TM move/Learned Move, AND 1 HM move. And you can't removed the TM/LM and HM move off your team members' 4 moves.

• You can use only 1 rare candy on each Pokémon in your team.

• If you catch either a legendary or event Pokémon, you get one extra chance in any area in the region to catch another wild Pokémon if you want.

• Using X-items are NOT allowed in your nuzlocke.

• Give yourself a spending limit on how much in-game money you spend in items in PokéMarts.

• The Master Ball can not be use, EVER!!!!!

I have a Makuhita (Greg, Lv. 21), a Azumarill (Mizusekiei, Lv. 28), a Numel (Numb, Lv. 26), a Graveler (Dude, Lv. 27), a Slugma (Maggy, Lv. 23), and finally, a Combusken (Ryu, Lv. 30) in mah team.

Just try to level up your Azumarill to level 33 or something (34 or more is safer since it is five levels above Flannery's strongest Pokémon, Torkoal). Spam Bubble Beam and the badge is secured. *remembers Azumarill's trash Speed stat* Kill some Zubats (if you have time, 252) to EV train your Azumarill (EVs are special factors that increase some of your Pokémon's stats). Zubat gives 1 Speed EV Point, so if you train enough, you can outspeed some of Flannery's Pokémon.

Also my Nuzlocke Pokémon:
Caesar (Chimchar, I thought Dante or Monkey would be boring) - Level 10
Canada Boi (Bidoof, the HM slave) - Level 5
Elec Lion (Shinx, nicknames makes no sense now, but as a Luxray it will) - Level 4

Also, even though I like Blaziken and overpick Sceptile, Swampert is the best starter to choose for a nuzlocke. You can even solorun it, sololocke (yes I made this up) it or overlevel it quickly!

They are seriously tough~ My run randomizes Pokemon movesets, wild & trainer & starter & gift Pokemon, and shuffles TM/HM compatibility and items, PLUS the standard Nuzlocke rules~ I'll attempt another one on stream very soon~

Oh no I attempted a second one tonight on-stream and it was even worse~ It's extremely tough~! Hope your runs are going well~
