(request) MM2 ceiling P-switches

So due to my lack of time to learn lua and my inexperience with it I was thinking I needed some ceiling P-switches for a level I'm working on. I checked and saw that no one did that one yet. (If someone did my apologies) It would be nice if someone could make those.

I once made them for Juggle Physics a loooong time ago (here they toggled pswitch state permanently). I wonder how feasible it would be to use them as reference...

I see...well you'll have to forgive me for my lack of know-how. I don't know whether it would be feasible to somehow make all the existing code for it from back then into an all new npc compatible with Beta 4. Looking at the footage I got a couple of thoughts about perhaps a custom p-switch npc that can be turned normal or upside down depending on the option for it. Perhaps with some extra configurable settings like p-switch time limit. (Unless that would be a problem for the sound effect..)

That might perhaps be a fun idea. I will note that the internal P-Switch length is tied to the stopwatch length, as they both occupy the same memory offset.

I could maybe look into crafting an expanded pswitch soon. Depending on how much time I have I might get it done within the next week (Mystery Contest kinda butting in).

Ah, that would be awesome! Honestly still keeps me thinking about the creative possibilities of having an expanded p-switch. Would be fun to maybe see how something like a p-switch that's to be attached to a wall could function. Like kicking a shell to hit it or hitting it with a throwable npc, so like a kind of variant that can't be activated by jumping on it, however can be by hitting it with some npcs.
