Adding Battle Mode

Dont get confused by the title but my battle mode does not work it says "Cant load this level, because the file does not exist World.wld" so i am asking how can i add new Levels to the Battle Mode!

The reason this happens is because there are no battle maps. This in turn is because battles are a glitchy mess which don't work in SMBX2, for example the second player's character selection button is invisible and what seems to be infinite lives. If you want to play battles, download TheXTech, which is a remake of an older version where battles do work. Just note they are a multiplayer experience, so you'll need to find a player 2.
FORBIDDEN ARCANE LORE: show But, if you really, really, REALLY want to play battles in SMBX2, add a folder called "battles" to the data folder and add your maps. These maps have to be in the old LVL format, and as I mentioned they are a buggy mess, so as mentioned I'd recomend downloading TheXTech and playing them there.
(Cue an X2 developer coming to murder me for saying how to add back this feature)

Battle mode will be revamped for SMBX2 once we solved our current multiplayer conundrum.

I never use SMBX2 Multiplayer for three reasons: I play SMBX2 on a keyboard, my friends are brazillian and probably doesn't understand a shred of making levels/playing levels/english texts and I never make multiplayer levels as far as I remember

Wouldn’t assume that, there’s like a Brazilian people flock and also a Spanish one and Germans also use it so I don’t think they wouldn’t be able to make a level at all
