My 2nd full project released.

I took the sprites from smbx 1.4

This is pretty cool, however if you don't spin jump you can still float down by pressing the spin jump key in the air. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not?
Also collecting an ice flower causes an error.
Cool powerup though.

Well, it kinda makes sense I guess, so I'll probably just leave it in
The ice flower error, idk how to fix that tho, I just got started so I'm not that skilled yet

It appears this has a messed up ap_iceflower file. It also seems that you don't understand how the images are supposed to work (see the gold flower example included with ap for how it's supposed to work).

Are the physics smoother than the 38A propeller? (which doesn't have a great gliding angle and is quite stiff as this engine's physics are overall)

I'm not sure, I've played 38A for like, 90 seconds in my whole life.

Ummm... I'm not sure if anyone noticed but you can do the Propeller Jump WITHOUT the Propeller Mushroom (Proof: I did this like, twice, when I was with the Fire Flower)! It is very weird!

Plus, I'd recommend making a propeller effect on top of Mario's outfit, if not too hard.

I like this Powerup, a lot. That said, two major issues:
1) You can do the Propeller Jump without the Powerup, as Lucario just said.
2) I registered the correct id for the Powerup, but now the Propeller chases me like a Koopa Troopa and HURTS ME. What the flip...?!
If you could help me, that would be great.
