Will the Tower of the Biased contest ever return?

How long has it been since the last TOB? like three years? I was still in high school when the last one came out and it feels like we've never had that strong community unity ever since at least to me. I enjoyed TOB and all the hilarious in-jokes that came out of it.
would any of you be willing to see it return just like me?

Probably not. The the TOB series is designed is not how a contest episode should be designed.

I'm gonna need a bit of explanation on that, I don't fully understand what you mean.

If under better judging sure, but then again the contest itself was a huge joke with reviews as biased as all hell and helping no one improve upon their previous work. For as funny as the name was it reflected the bad state of the judging system back then, with staggering models such as "level is broken, but i forgive 10/10" and "this level is good, there's nothing wrong and i enjoyed 7/10", it's hard to think of a good enough reason to re-use the "brand".

And besides, this will most likely help in prompting more events like ToB, except better.

Community contests (hosted by Quill or Valtteri) ended with CC12. ToB series ended with ToBX. Nowadays official contests are called differently.

The TOB series tried to be a standard, story driven episode that forces you to play through all the levels submitted from the contest, from worst to best. This results in having the player go through and complete bad and mediocre levels before they get to play the good levels. I know of members that didn't finish a TOB (myself included) for this reason. It is better to just have the contest episodes as a compilation of the levels submitted and let players play the levels they wish to play. If you force players to play through a bunch of levels that aren't worth their time, then the whole episode won't be worth their time.

Turning contests into a compilation of almost entirely bad levels and then building a mario 64 esque shitposty story driven episode series was not the crown achievement people see it as. On top of that, Quill and Valtteri are no longer around and honestly it shouldn't be continued without both of them anyway. it shouldn't be continued at all tbh

IDK besides the shitty levels being mandatory, I found the ToB episodes to have a certain crusty charm about them. Something about real users showing up as mario bosses just made me smile for some reason, and I wish there was more meta shit in general in contest episodes, as it really does make the contest and episode a lot more personal.
