wont watch any games as its exam season for me, but since canada isnt there im cheering for iceland even though i doubt theyll get past round 1

oh I'm gonna guess Iceland will make it. I expect Croatia to perform as badly as in the recent tournaments (they just don't seem to make a proper team)

England will probably do shit like they have done in the recent World cups.

Germany defeated, this is what I think about it.

1) KO round now already starts with the 2nd group game, we could be this time's laughingstocks that Spain, Italy and England were last time.
2) even if that works, it's most likely round of 16 against Brazil, congrats.
3) Germany earlier still placed well after losing preliminary games. Down but not out yet.
4) Germany also could have gotten 5 goals like Spain
5) Germany also had bad bad luck in the final offensive; Ochoa is a fucking Cerberus (Kroos' free kick)
6) France would also have maybe lost against Mexico with their yesterday's performance
7) Italy is not even here so look at how they're feeling
8) Germany has enthralled for almost eight years with their "children's football", now the world has learnt how to deal with it, same that happened with Spain's "tiqui-taqua" before.
9) ousting Sané is a horrible blunder, he has the speed that Germany is missing so much.
10) I'm consoling myself with the 7:1.

Croatia won 3-0 against Argentina, thus also succeeded at advancing further on.
This was an even bigger surprise than Germany v. Mexico ending up 0-1.

Semi-final 1 is gonna be France vs. Belgium on Tuesday.

Semi-final 2 shall have been decided by today midnight.
