The Nova Level Contest is the first level contest which was hosted by The Novaverse. It was hosted between February 1st and May 15th 2019.
It received a total of 40 submissions, 23 submissions for the X2 part and 17 submissions for the 38A part.

The Nova Level Contest was judged by Eri7, Scroll, Eric and TawPawNaw.
Shadowflame was a part of the judge lineup but dropped due to lack of time, his reviews can still be found in the episode and on a docs file.
Additionally, Cedur helped with judging 2 levels that TawPawNaw was unable to judge.


The X2 and 38A Episodes were created by 8luestorm with the help of MrDoubleA and Eri7.


The Winners of the Nova Level Contest are AirShip (X2) and Inferno_Guy (38A).
Radience (X2) and Cedur (38A) take 2nd place. AndrewPixel (X2) and YoshiSuperstar (38A) take 3rd place.

Beat all 23 contest levels in the NLC 2.0 to be able to challenge the Winner's boss or beat at least 10 contest levels in the NLC 38A to be able to challenge the other Winner's boss!

There are also some secrets hidden in the episodes that you can unlock by progressing!

nope, it's its own thing. Coincidentally this is all explained within the hub area of the 2.0 version

... So, just asking before checking out anything, is NVS P1 still gonna be related in any way to the contest?

Yep, that too is explained within the contest episodes

I hadn't gotten around to see the world map, it looks amazing. Hope this will be fun to play. I'm glad I took part on this.
