How to play Battle Mode? (SMBX 2.0 Beta 4)

I made a battle mode stage for me and my brother to play. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the level to show up. I tried making a folder titled "battle" in data and put the level in said folder. It still didn't work.

Are you using SMBX2? If I recall correctly there's a multiplayer issue in this build which is why it doesn't include any battle levels. I have always used 1.3 for multiplayer and it works fine.

It came up with a familiar launcher that said "SMBX Version 1.3.0.1 is now available for Download!" When the actual game was booted up, the SMBX v1.3.0.1 main menu came up, but there was no level or sound. Odd.

It came up with a familiar launcher that said "SMBX Version 1.3.0.1 is now available for Download!" When the actual game was booted up, the SMBX v1.3.0.1 main menu came up, but there was no level or sound. Odd.

That one works fine for 2-player mode and battle mode since it is the original SMBX 1.3.0.1 (just with a different main menu level). You can't hear anything cause the music and sounds that SMBX2 includes are .ogg files and 1.3.0.1 doesn't support them.
