When i played Super Mario All Stars+ SMW for the first time on my first computer (i was between 4-5 years old) i got stuck in the following levels/worlds:

SMB1: i got stuck on World 5's castle

SMB Lost Levels: i can't remember, but i'm sure it was a castle

SMB2:World 4 (ice world) i got past it after some years

SMB3: i was stuck on World 7's first castle (the one with no enemies), a few years later, i managed to beat the castle and the world aswell

SMW: i was stuck on Cheese Bridge (i forgot to save), a few years later, i managed to get past Cheese Bridge and defeat Ludwig, but i felt a bit disappointed when i discovered that Roy, Wendy and Larry were modified versions of previous bosses, also i felt even more disappointed when i discovered that all bosses from the fortresses were Reznors with the same attack pattern

Now, feel free to tell me if you got stuck on a Mario level/world for years ;)

I remember when I played mario forever (It's a fan game and also the first mario game I played.) I was stuck at the first castle because I didn't know I can run, and I was must to run because there was a big lave pool that I should take an amplitude and run to jump far enough to cross it.

SMB Lost Levels World 8-2 was pretty stupid. I had to look up how to beat it, not knowing there was a vine block. I already knew that Lost Levels had a lot of invisible coin blocks, but I wasn't expecting a vine.

One thing I didn't figure out about SMB2 in North America is that you can duck to increase your jump height. It took me longer than it should have to beat World 2-3.

Although I've considered Super Mario Galaxy 2 one of my favorite games since I played it for the first time ten years ago, I could not beat "The Perfect Run" for a very long time.

I'm techically eternally stuck in nsmbwii world 2, because my wii USB slot broke, and the game was on a USB drive, so there's my explanation.

I never beat either Special 5 or Special 6 of Mario 3D Land until very recently, despite having the game since 2013 (7 years old)

Super Mario Galaxy's first level, Gateway Galaxy.
Very embarrasing

I remember I was stuck in NSMB world 3 and world 5 castles, cause I couldn't find the secret exits to unlock world 4 and world 7 respectively. I was a little kid back then so I didn't really think about looking up how to get those exits.

When I first got Super Paper Mario for the Wii, I got stuck on the end of chapter 2-2. I distinctly remember being too scared by the Gnaw to get to the door, despite it actually being really easy to get past it. I was so relieved when I finally got past him.

Dark Bowser in M&L:BiS. Put simply, I suck at button mashing. I was stuck on that for years until I googled how to bead that button mashing minigame in SPM and then applied the same trick to Dark Bowser. I also got stuck on Charkron for ages in said game. Yes, of all things I suck at it had to be button mashing.

How were you scared? It's just a box.

I was like 5 or 6 years old at the time.

k got it.i know it isnt mario, but i was freaked out by the stupid Eggman appearances in sonic colors' game world. pretty sure in one of them he's freaking got hearts for eyes; something not Eggman at all. its my way of relating a fear of mine to one of yours, as nothing in a Mario game has ever scared me.

I'm pretty much stuck on World 1 of SMG2 because I lost the original disc during a move, and the disc I have now can't play past Sky Station Galaxy. I had a save file where I unlocked the green stars, but my dumb ass deleted it, so now I'm back at the beginning. I remember one time when I first got my Wii for Christmas with NSMBWii, and I was stuck on World 1's map. Literally the map of all places; I didn't know how to enter a level at first (I was also like 7 at the time). When I finally did, I ended up dying to a goomba lol.

I was stuck at the same section for months, like you. And after looking at the controls, I realized there was a run button. Literally, 8-year old me was so enlightened back then. And after that, I have completed Mario Forever in 3 weeks.
