(Built for 1.4.5/38A Patch 30)
Welcome to my most recent project for that past week and a half: Land of Normality! It's not finished yet, but I just finished the first "area".
My goal for this was to make an SMBX episode that doesn't rely heavily on custom graphics, music, or a deep plot to be enjoyable.

The primary story is that Bowser stole the 6 stars from the Yoshi Isles and Mario needs to collect the stars to enter Bowser's castle and free the Yoshis.
Yes, the whole "finding 6 things" has already been done in Super Mario Land 2, but that game was pretty non-linear.
The whole thing takes place on a island that's mostly grown over with grass. If you want more info, then read the "Notes from the Creator.txt" file included with the episode.

No screenshots for now, but they'll be coming soon at some point.

Download Demo:
(I've removed the download due to the development stopping.
EDIT 6/23/20: Due to some technical difficulties regarding my smbx.exe, I won't be working on this for a while.

you don't need screenshots by the rules but it would still be good to show off something so ppl don't have to buy a pig in a poke

Hey, sorry, everybody. My 38A client decided to quit on me so I'm stopping this project for the time being. If I ever come back to it then I'll add screenshots.

Windows kept seeing Trojans that kept attacking that specific smbx.exe file, and I've moved onto SMBX 2.0 anyway.

Wait, what?
I remember there being a rule saying "You need as many screenshots as worlds your project is gonna have"

I also strongly suggest posting screenshots so people can get an actual look at the project's core (its levels).

Also, you can fix that problem with the smbx.exe by disabling your internet connection when you open it.

Thanks for all the support, but I've decided to abandon this project. It was fun to work on but I don't want to be under the stress of 2 projects at once.

1.4.5 really has big trouble with Window's antiviruses. It was constantly deleted on my PC so I just gave up on it. You need to find a way to whitelist it if you really care to continue on it.

Also Eric, notice the Projects Update thread.

For some reason it was really easy to bypass in SMBX2. Just click "allow as exception", it is flagged by windows defender but not as a trojan (for me).
