Custom Scenery Error.

I was making a world map and I decided to add in the cactus scenery that was used in SMB: A New Beginning but unfortunately when I saved it I got this.
I started up SMBX normally checking disable frameskip and I tried multiple times to add the cactus graphic in, I can place it down but it won't save if I use it or not. Is it because it's a custom graphic or is it that I used it over a specific graphic, being the moon? And if I can't use it then...

I know for sure it has to be this graphic though because when I remove it from the folder, it works perfectly and I am able to save my map.

Removing the graphics from the folder when you're working on it is pretty much what you have to do, sadly. Most scenery items will make the map error when saving (I think the control array element number is also saying which scenery number is part of the problem). You can put the graphics back in the folder when you're done working on it and ready to play it in Start Game mode.

So with that means, you have to remember which scenery number you are using on your world map and if it is done completly with every Levels in it, you can put them back to the SMBX Episode Folder where your world map is.

After checking, the cactus is on Scene-60.
Scenes 33-65 may crash the world editor when placed in your worldmap and then you save your work. You should make the world map without the cactus (and the custom graphics for scenes 33-65), and save. Then, move the graphics back into your episode folder and then when you check the world map - it's there already without any crashing.

You can alternatively make a backup of the original scenery folder and then put the new sceneries into the new scenery folder. That way you won't get an error and the map will show up as other people will be playing it in the episode as you edit it.

Thanks for the help everyone. I will probably just add the cactus in after I finish the map.

I tried to do this, but it wouldn't show the new scenery in the "scenery selector".
