Guides on making ini files for player costumes?

I looked all over and I can't find any. I downloaded a costume costume for toad, but I'm trying to convert it to peach, but the graphics are messed up, and I think it's because I need to make some ini files.

data/pge/pge_calibrator.exe (calibrator.exe? you'll find it)
use that. load an image and then use the gui to position the hitboxes, then save the ini.
