I am new here but I have a problem.

The map does not appear centered, a black background appears on the left side when starting.



My version is: 38A - 1.4.5 and I am using a translator because I don't speak much English, sorry.

place more water tiles around it and you should be good to go?

(besides I hope you're gonna shape the map a lot more anyway)

Oh, I see what you mean.
SMBX doesnt actually 'center' the world map, the center is always the player, so always be sure to place enough water or other tiles to mask that background

Yeah, that's why you should put more water tiles to block and obscure the black tiles.
