Also, to improve the quality of life, we should implement the auto-restart option, disable the life counter ( make it impossible to get a game over ) and replace it with a death counter, or something like that.

How about making a world map instead of a hub? It's easier, easier to make look good, and more pleasant to traverse if you enable travl with one line of lua :)

Looking through this post and all of the contests, it makes me kinda regret not submitting more stuff to see if there's been level growth at all on my end. Maybe I'll submit more stuff in the future so I can get at least one level shown in a future rendition of this.

Oh neat! Maybe just maybe depending on when submissions for this whole project are due and how much of the old team would be willing to, I could finally review all of the levels from the remaining contests just to give designers who put the time and work into my contests more respect despite me being both busy and lazy the past few years.
