What’s the worst and annoying enemy you think is in smbx?
Personally I hate
Lakitus
Sledge bros
Green spinies
Any chasing enemies.
Also I hate tweeters because I hate them.

The Pirahna Plants that shoot multiple fireballs and in a largely fast speed.

I made a poll a while back to see what npc the community hated the most. Unsurprisingly, it was the chasing Para AIs that were the most hated

I think we're excluding bosses in this thread.
Also this may sound dumb but I'm getting hit by sudden swoopers so many times.

SMB2 bombs and Bob-Ombs due to being volatile and having huge blast radius that is larger than explosion sprite. SMB3 Lakitus and chasing enemies are close second.

Funfact: The explosion isn't actually larger than the sprite. The reason why it seems larger is because the player's vulnerable area is calculated as a circle from the center of the player with the radius (player.width + player.height) / 2, meaning that if you're Big Mario, you are more vulnerable horizontally and less vulnerable vertically.
The same applies to enemies. Very tall enemies can walk across exploding bombs without a care in the world.
This... quirk is not present in lvlx files in SMBX2 Beta 4, where the actual hitboxes are used. So your experience ought to be a bit better in new levels.

If you think it's bad in 2.0, then you'll REALLY hate it in 38a. For whatever reason, Bowser's ground pound has weird aim and doesn't land directly on you, making it really tedious to get him to ground pound a hole.

Everyone loaths SMB3 Bowser at the beginning but with enough practice you'll figure out his patterns and deal better with him.

What pattern? Random amount of fireballs then random amount of jumps then repeat? Sounds like its just RNG to me.

The default bosses because everyone overuses them. Especially Boom Boom and SMB3 Bowser.

Order of SMB3 Bowser`s attacks and timing are definitely RNG powered.

Those aren't even in SMBX? Maybe as Lua codes or 38A, but not the original version or SMBX2.

The first two are in 38A, yes.
