Thoughts on Byleth in Ultimate?

Personally I think Byleth is fine, of course it is weird to have a 1st party character, and even weirder, a FE character, but I don't have a problem that it's another sword boi or that it's another FE character, and as for gameplay, Byleth is really fun and has great kill potential.

I find the character choice rather uncreative and disappointing but I also find the anger,whining and crying completely unnecessary. If you don't like it, Don't buy it. Its not like the character is going to majorly effect the game. Besides, Nintendo was even generous to give us 6 more upcoming fighters to the game. All hope shouldn't be gone just because a character you don't like or care for made it in as dlc. But I do admit, They are going overboard with the fire emblem characters. It has more representation than the zelda series in smash at this point but its very likely byleth is the last FE character to be in smash. Especially after the backlash.

Yeah, I just played Touhou Luna Nights on my channel. I don't really like bullet hell games, but its community is interesting.
