CAn someone PLEASE make an ice bro from new super Mario bros Wii! Seriously we have hammer bros boomer rang bros sumo bros and fire bros in smbx . WHY no ice bros?

You should be satisfied with just reskinning Fire Bro (npc-389) and his fireball to Ice bro. I agree that being frozen sucks.

But I domt want it to replace the fire bro I want it as it’s own. Why is freezing the player garbage?

It slows down gameplay.

Well, that's a bit of the point, at least when a timer is activated for a level.

Slowing down gameplay is unfun, regardless of if there is a time limit or not. If you get frozen, you become unable to play the game until you unfreeze, which is inherently disruptive to pacing (by reducing it to 0).

The best way of making an ice bro would be to have them throw ice balls, and making them behave identically to player-thrown ice balls, minus the freezing.

Did you ever get frozen by an ice bro in NSMBWii/U/etc or in SMBX38A? Didn't you think it was unpleasant to be frozen and helplessly exposed to what happens in the next moments?
