Grinder vs Larry

I know this is a stupid question, but...
I was testing someone's episode, and they made pipes that spawned Grinders (saw) in a Larry battle. But unfortunately each grinder took out one or two hits when it hit Larry. Is there any solution to our problem other than "no grinders"?

Yeah I don't think you can change the way that NPCs interact with other NPCs aside from npcblock and npcblocktop. You're going to have to figure something else. Sorry.

1. Put friendly Grinder to hear its sound.
2. Replace Grinder's graphicks with emptiness to make it unseen
3. Replace any SMW3 platform with Grinder (set also nohurt=0 and jumphurt=1)
4. ??????
5. RUN

Note: You need hide platforms' generator out of reach by player, because that generator will damage player!

What about it going across the ground? Don't platforms fall through the ground?

You could put horizontal platform lines slightly beneath the ground.

Oh, and I forgot - what about spin jump? Should I make this grinder look slightly different because of that?

Oh, that's a good point. Yeah, some indication in the graphic would probably help. Maybe red-tipped spikes or something.

Nope. It'd have to replace something you can spin-jump on, but everything else you can spin-jump on can also be killed. You have to choose between spin-jumpable and immortal.
