RIP Minecraft Console Edition

Tomorrow, Bedrock Edition will be coming out for PS4, which marks the end of the last supported version of the legacy console editions of Minecraft (PlayStation 4 Edition). If you want a digital copy of this unique version of Minecraft, then you will need to buy it now as it probably won't be available for purchase after Bedrock Edition comes out. Good news is that PS4 players will finally be able to play Minecraft with players on other platforms, also 1.15 will be out.

Well, it was fun playing Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch while it lasted!

Too bad I discontinued my YouTube let's play of the Switch edition due to freaking OneDrive rn

Not exactly, you can get the Switch version if you want

Get Minecraft Bedrock for Switch instead of the legacy Switch version.

If you want to play the Legacy Console Editions, then your best bet would be to get it on the last gen consoles (Xbox 360/PS3/PS Vita/Wii U), as they won't be receiving Bedrock Edition. For PS4 or Xbox One, you will have to get a physical copy of the game. Unfortunately, physical copies of Nintendo Switch Edition don't exist, so the only way of getting it would be to buy a second hand Switch with that version of Minecraft installed on it (or hacking your Switch might allow you to obtain a digital copy, but that has its own issues).
