Sounds overly complicated and poorly thought out imo

I'd say just add a star system in the Episodes forum. Maybe the stars could be displayed directly in the thread index. It's hard to order episodes with different amounts of votes - "total amount" (advantaged by many votes) and "average" (advantaged by just one 5 star vote) are both questionable. Generally, stupid and controversial votes can be expected to happen.

I like the idea, it's the optimal way of handling SMBX content. I don't know much of anything about web dev though and I'm not sure how this would actually be developed and implemented.

I am personally all for the idea. Maybe it could be built right into the SMBX beta 4 launcher if completed by then?

I've seen star ratings before, it can definitely be done. I've also seen how SM63 was linked to its level portal, displaying the ratings, so that could be possible for SMBX2 as well.

Agreed - afaik, it's not easy to implement custom things in php forums (as you don't have as much control as you would have on, say, a custom-built website). If it were built into the launcher, it'd be really easy to access. Obviously if it were to be added for beta 4 then the release date would get delayed further, however I do see it being a really useful feature.
