I'll be glad to participate. Personally, I'm glad that there's no custom graphics, scripts, or NPC-configs allowed, as semi-noobs like me have a fair fight in this contest. Also, Graphics > Gameplay.

How does allowing features that whether you choose to use them or not has little to no effect on your score make a contest unfair to beginners.

The only reason one can consider any contest to be unfair to beginners is that they are not as good as more experienced players, but this remains the same regardless of what a contest is (and proficiency compared to other contestants is normally what a contest tests anyway).

No, they're the new switch blocks added in SMBX2 PAL.

The global switches work like switch palaces from Super Mario World, hence they're called "global" because they can activate their respective switch blocks in every level of an episode (which is why you must not use them here)

My exam period ends on the 23rd so I probably won't have time to distribute the levels until after
Due to this and talking it over, the contest deadline is extended to December 23

• A level Hud (Much like the TOB & community level contest episodes) with all the level entries, with each section of the level Hud being shown as different tiers
