There can't be a general consensus, which is why I would never do a blind bargain if someone doesn't specify (unless the screenshots could give you enough indication).

This is one of the reasons I have been stalling lately. I think we need separate sections based on which version of SMBX was used by the creator.

EDIT: That said, if the creator doesn't specify, the main Episodes page could still be used even for new posts.

That's true, I always play episodes that aren't specified with 1.4.4 or 38A

I guess at some point when SMBX2PAL and future versions fully bowl out 1.3 and Beta 3 then it makes sense to move 38A content into its own subforum.
