Yes it was. I love smw styled projects but the one creating the project needs to make it his own. Playing the exact same thing gets repetitive.

Indeed, i prefer the SMW style more than the SMB3 style. But the creator needs to make it look different instead of being a recycle of the original SMW.

This thread is from one year ago. I wouldn't expect this to happen. Besides we already had copyright issues with such remakes.
