Hey guys I was just wondering if it's possible to make one of those Key Doors on the overworld map open up once you've beaten a castle or something?

There's a level with the door graphic. Use it.Natsu wrote:If you want that, you'd need a tile with a door making it like it has a scenery, but in fact it doesn't. Since you can't place level entrances upon sceneries, only paths, this is the only way you can possibly do that kind of effect.
How would I go about making said level change its GFX to the open door (or remove itself entirely) after clearing it?Christian07 wrote:There's a level with the door graphic. It can't be impossible because Phil did it in his SMB3 remake, too. I just can't really see how he did that.Christian07 wrote:It's impossible, sorry.

He also added key doors on the world map and made them disappear when the player unlocks the path.Christian07 wrote:scenery+tile.
