I'm someone who just returned to the forums after quite a while. I'd like to ask, is it allowed to use websites for Ad Revenue before your episode's download page?

Also; I would be disabling requirements for downloading things, and I would use Linkvertize. I would only use options like waiting 15 seconds or seeing a window of articles. I'm not going to make people go an extra sprint for just a level, I want to just see if I'm allowed to make it so I can earn something from level creation, and I want to make sure it's allowed before I begin to do so.

Have you ever considered the legal implications of profiting off of user generated content created within a free unlicensed fan game?

And if that isn't enough of a reason for you, remember that lots of kids use SMBX and some of them are kinda dumb/inexperienced and won't always necessarily know which thing to click on to start downloading the level.

I'm kinda just returning to these forums myself so I'm not entirely sure of what the rules are, but even I can tell that what you're thinking of doing is a very bad idea. If you really want to profit from your game design efforts, I can recommend you some official tools for making games which you could upload to your own website and do whatever you want with, and even possibly sell them. However, if you're looking to pursue this type of thing within something like the SMBX level editor I'm afraid you'll only ever come up empty handed.

that thought of getting money from SMBX is absolutely reprehensible enough ...
