SMM2+(modded) SMM1 SMBX community level contest (?)

This is just a suggestion really. Anyone willing to participate in something like this should use the comments box below. If at least 8 users are willing to compete I would organise the actual contest. Once that limit has been breached, a month will be given to others to sign up. If another eight users have signed themselves up, a period of another two months will be given for the rest to join in on the fun.

I think it's a good idea. A Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament was hosted recently so I guess people can organise these things. I may not participate however.

This is a great idea, but I've still got a couple of questions about this contest.

Are you required to own SMM2, SMM1 and SMBX? If so, I can't participate, because I don't own a Wii U.

Also, how exactly would the judging work? Are there going to be three individual contests, one per game, or would you judge every level as part of the same contest?

Which SMBX versions are we allowed to use?

And are SMM1 owners required to mod their Wii U in order to participate?

No, you need either SMM2 OR SMM1. It doesn't matter if you have SMBX or not. With SMBX community I was referring to the community of SMBX. So as long as you have Mario Maker 1 or Mario Maker 2 you'll be good to go. Sorry for the late reply btw. I was captured by the release of MM2.

Your second question is an interesting one, because one version isn't really better than the other. They have their advantages and disadvantages.
