Some music causes SMBX to lock up

I'm using 1.3.0.1, downloaded from the installer and certain default music tracks (like SMB1 castle) cause the game to freeze when selected in the editor. I tried moving the music files out, but that didn't fix anything. This didn't start happening until recently, and I think something dumped onto my computer by evil installers could have caused this. However, I got rid of unwanted programs, reinstalled SMBX and even tried moving the music files. Nothing worked.

Info about my computer (if more is needed, I can try to find it):
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Processor: AMD A10-5900K with Radeon HD Graphics 3.80 GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB

Huh. So there are no error messages or anything just that the SMBX is not responding?

Correct. I have to force-close it. For some reason, SMB1 Castle doesn't cause it to lock up anymore, at least not after I removed the music files from the music folder. Some other ones do, though.

This is weird. Maybe the Music itself has too many bytes in it but it could be wrong though since other musics are stronger like the Waluigi's Pinball or Mushroom Gorge Music.

What happens if you use the regular Music from the SMBX 1.3?
