I prefer the GBA remake of the game, as I can actually change direction mid air, which solves my biggest complaint about the nes. I've never played the original arcade version though.

Wanna know another game I considered the WORST of the games?

South Park on the Nintendo 64 & PSX!

I prefer the GBA remake of the game, as I can actually change direction mid air, which solves my biggest complaint about the nes. I've never played the original arcade version though.

That's why I didn't enjoy Ice Climber so much. The air control is terrible.

ehh, I kinda disagree on that one. the graphics are really terrible to look at and the game is somewhat all over the place, but this doesn't make it that bad. It functions pretty well and does the job it's supposed to do. I get the impression that the developers did put semi-decent effort in making it, and I've seen much much worse than this.
my choice for the worst game would probably be E.T. for the Atari, the game was made in a short time with almost no effort put into it, you get lost all the time (not to mention the buggy screen transitions) and the concept is really terrible to begin with, unlike top banana.

I'm very surprised that NOBODY in the SMBX community in the history of this thread mention any of those god-awful "Pay to Win" games from HELL!!!!

I'm not concerned about judging videogames, however I can say that the Atari 2600 port of the original Donkey Kong is ugly. Only two levels either.

Freaking Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest/Final Fantasy USA! Must I say more?

Here's some of mine

Mario Kart Tour (Microtransaction filled mediocre Mario Kart game)
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (Basically just a SMB1 ROM Hack with terrible levels and unimportant gimmicks)
Mega Man 3 (Unbalanced and unfinished with the Doc Robot stages being frustrating filler levels)
Shining in the Darkness (Confusing and generic JRPG that i couldn't understand)

Glover on the PlayStation 1! Enough said!

Here's another one: TMNT for the NES. Why? It had such a stupid design error where you LITERALLY SINK THROUGH LEDGES.

You're right. It is too freaking hard. We are all lucky it was never released out of Japan and we got Mario Madness instead. That is much better.

Mega Man 1 was quite broken tbh, not really one of the WORST games, but certainly not an amazing one, a few issues are: Copy Robots weird AI, the Pause Trick, Anvil Gravity when walking off of Magnet Beam.

As for the design itself, Guts Lift section, Magnet Beam not being optional and other bad difficulty stuff etc. I would still recommend it, just not my favorite.
