Looks very loyal to SMB3

This looks very much like Super Mario Bros. 3

So here are my thoughts of playing the level.
I figured out this is for 2.0 and not for 38A.
The beginning forced you into an action which is bad because you don't have a breathing room and a power up so one mistake, slow reflexes and slow pc will result into an annoying death.
I don't understand why did you put a 1-up generator near the beginning of the level wide open, you are giving the player free lives without making him earn them which is bad level design.
There was a random roto-disc and a random magic koopa there for no reason other than to slow you down and the length of the level was way too short, the main gimmicks ended up being very underused (goombas/koopas/pirahna plants).
I don't get why did you use the SMB3 clouds background when you could have just used the SMB3 Block background which will fit way more with the theme of the level but i guess you might have done it to provide more variety?
Also there is a not so secret pipe which leads you to a bonus room to give you a hammer suit which is again, uhh bad, because you haven't earned the power up and the level just kinda gives it to you for free.
So overall, the level resembled a level from SMB3 minus a lot of flaws but i like that you are starting to be original and i hope you can improve in the future because i really think you can make some good levels once you dedicate yourself towards achieving this goal and remember to have fun, even if my review makes you sad, please understand that you can use my perspective and my opinions to improve your level or to make your next level better!

Perhaps I'll try this, it sure does look very SMB3 esc.

Well the name of the topic clearly says that it's 1-1 so its kinda really obvious its a remake.

Eh, I wasn't really questioning it, I was just stating that I thought it was neat. (Even though we've probably seen it lots of times before.)
