Why fan boys are annoying......

Fanboys are obnoxious and love to act cool; they go on YouTubers (like Chuggaaconroy) and say "play CoD" "play Minecraft". What people don't understand is probably ninety-five percent of fanboys are little children who play games rated mature. Whether this is relevant or not, premature kids/teenagers (zero-sixteen) who play shooter games learn in life that your way to go is so shoot people, and be a criminal. It is a horrible example, and the world would be a better place if there were no shooter games I think.

The world would be a better place without shooter games? I so long have been playing pretty much only Shooter games as they only seem good and legit for me. Heck i even own myself guns and a sniper in my RL. It's not the fault of the shooter games they do this. So 2 be serious we all know Germany and i hate it for censoring all the games they have thats why i only buy my games from american shops.

Shooter games can be good and can be bad. Shooter games can turn your sight better. And if have a Third World War? The Shooter/FPS games train strategy and teamwork too, if played with teams. This is the good side of the Shooter Games.

The most Shooter Games can be 16/18+. In the science of games, in your first days with the game, you can be "love" the game and do things exactly what the game teaches. However, you can too do this forever. Today the kids want more play games how Grand Thief Auto, Battlefield, etc, when the correct is plays Super Mario, Kirby, Sonic, etc. But all game that the adults plays, kids want play because his know that how a "exclude" to play the game. This is a rule of the game science, and can't be change. Except by a Miracle.

Conclusion: Shooter Games can be good games to the sight and the teamwork, if played in the right age and with moderation.

Let everyone play the games they want to play. Shooter games etc. exist for a reason - people want to play them. But, as LukasSMBX stated in the first post, fanboys are a no-go. I don't wanna see a Let's Play of a Mario game and what I find in the comments is something like "Minecraft is soooooooooooooo much better than this!!!!!1111oneoneeleven" or "all malleo suxx yo its for little kids yo go play cod instead yo". Seriously, it's just annoying. Nobody, especially not Mario fans, want to see such stuff, and besides, it's bad to force someone into doing something that they don't want to do.
Kep and Miles Troopa do have a point, too, however. There are quite a few 12-year olds who play all that brutal and gory stuff like PAYDAY, Left for Dead or Call of Duty. Such games just aren't the right games for them. Age restrictions are there for a good reason.

Shooter games have violence, but they don't influence criminal actions, neither does the Grand Theft Auto series. It's the player that decides to do that, not the game itself. The media enjoys putting video games in a bad spotlight.

I agree with Syndril: I don't think that shooters make people go on gun rampages any more than playing SMBX makes you want to stomp on turtles. When radio was new, the media said it was bad for you, When movies were new, the media said they were bad for you. When TV was new, the media said it was bad for you. Video games are still a fairly new medium, especially graphically violent shooters. Demonizing them makes a good spectacle...

As Joey is an admin - just follow the rule. English is the primary language of the forums. As most of the posters here are from other countries, I'm afraid they don't get good English at all.

On Topic: Shooters are quite violent. Grand Theft Auto has no link to crimes. It is the player's mentality that makes decisions, runs them, answers them, and prints out the final answer. That is the logic of a player's mind. Players who play shooters need to think twice before doing something bad. LukasSMBX, I agree with the fact that shooters are not good for young children, however some may be playing them which could be linked to fan boys. I just ignore fanboys and move on with SMBX and Minecraft. Fanboys who try to act cool and tell people to play other games should be avoided for minors. They are mostly on YouTube, so there should be limits to stop fanboys from reaching the minors.

Have to agree with Syndril: FPS (first person shooters, not frames per second!) isn't the reason for violence.
I never understood why parents have let their children play games that are rated T or M to be honest.

But yeah, you guys aren't even following the topic established in the thread title. Furthermore, this thread's opinion on violence in general is just really really wrong.

FPS games is just part of a complete breakfest of a really fucked up life that leads to a school shooting. It is by no means the primary cause nor the trigger to negative thoughts already there. To make violent video games the scapegoat is to comically miss the point of improving your fellow man, and it makes humanity look all the more terrible.

These are shitposts not only because they provide no content but they do not apply to the original topic. Everyone is posting about violent shooters, not the original topic about how annoying the XBoX/Playstation fanboys are.
