But, it is possible to solve this problem? Because Beta 3 doesn't have this kind of problem. I have installed Beta 3 anywhere, but it doesn't give me any problems.
But is it worth putting the time into solving a problem caused by an action that causes many other problems anyway?

I think no, but I simply asked a question.
I have the sole interest in making the game as good as possible.

So for a little while I've had SMBX on my (C:) Drive, but it appears that isn't the best option (maybe), and that some people are having trouble with the new version being installed on the (C:) Drive. Where would you guys recommend having SMBX, and other fan games/editors? I personally haven't had trouble with having SMBX on my (C:) Drive, but I would love to hear some suggestions. If I'm able to avoid problems with the MAGLX3 version of SMBX (and Beta 4 as a whole) then I'd gladly take some advice.

Somewhere that does not require special privileges or permissions to read or write files to.
So definitely not in the program files.
I have SMBX stored in the documents folder, so maybe try that, or Desktop.

Try to install it on desktop.

Just a small suggestion. Is there anyway for the level editing that we can be able to select a reserve powerup/health while testing a level?

Downloaded the game. I absolutely loved it. It added so much to the game, and I can tell that it's only part of what the full beta 4 has to offer.

do you use Windows 10? This occasionally happened to me in the "old" Beta 3 as well.

So, for incredible reasons, I am still using Windows XP. Perhaps something to do with that?
None other problems.....

It is not recomended use anything before Windows 7, as support has been dropped for those OS's, thus leaving you vulnerable to viruses that wouldn't be a problem for newer OS's. So you should upgrade your OS (or upgrade/get a new PC if that is not possible).
Also the cobrats sink into quicksand rather than staying on top of it.

This isn't a problem, it's actually a feature - it's to prevent malicious code from taking over your computer.
So no, we won't be "fixing" this.

So I recently downloaded this, and when I opened it, it started to load properly, but when the load finishes, the window turns completely black but I can hear the music and the controls work as well, any thoughts?

Simple feedback: I prefer the old toolbar icons in PGE over the new ones, as the latter are more blurry and less pretty.
Same here, actually. Though maybe I'm just not used to it.

Are you referring to default or SMBX2 default themes?
If the former (which was what I had as the default), then it definitey does not look as good. If the latter, then it does look better and some of the icons explain what they open better than the beta 3 ones imo (if you want the beta 3 theme, that one is now called Super Mario by Squishy Rex). To change the theme, click on tools, then application settings, then view where you will find that setting.

If you want Beta 3 icons you have to go to the PGE editor:
Tools > Application Settings > View > Theme, and select "Super Mario by SquishyRex"

Will the characters unable to climb have the ability to in the full release of beta 4? I believe the only two are Snake and Samus. And will Ninja Bomberman's death be altered to be more like the other characters? Or at the very least, will the glitch setting the music to none upon respawning be fixed?

What is the meaning of deprecated?
What I have to do if I used 1.3 or 2.0 gif graphics?
Besides, there are multiple same NPCs that I don't know which one is which.

"Deprecated" means that the system or item is out of date, and there is a newer, better version.
The old way of using .gif graphics still works, but is deprecated in favour of .png graphics. Similarly, there are some deprecated NPCs that still work, but have newer, more up-to-date versions. In general, you shouldn't use an NPC if it's not in the tileset box.

Thanks a lot.
Now I know that I will have to return to 2.0 since it is more compatible with SMBX 1.3 to make my episode playable with 1.3, while I will use MAGLX3 version for MAGLX3.
