Hi guys, i just got Super Mario Bros X, but when i play it i don't hear anything even tough i have unchecked disable sound.
This is because the MP3 files aren't working.

Have you checked your computer's speakers? It's probably that.

My PC speakers are okay when i play other audio files, and when i play MP3 in windows media player, they're fine...but not in games.

If your speakers are not the cause, maybe you have something on your PC that prevents the sounds to play. You can check the "Loudspeaker"/"Speaker" at the bottom right and then go to "Mixer". There you can change the Volume to each running programm you currently use. Maybe that is the cause.

Was there the SMBX Program running while checking the mixer? If SMBX is open, check the mixer again.

Strange. Very Strange. For me it should appear like this:
But since yours is not appearing you should check "Help and Support" under your Start Menu and search that has to do with Sound Related Stuff...

I installed LAV Filters and the MP3 came back to work, the problem was the codecs that were old and outdated.
