What kind of shit do you do constantly in these kinds of games?
I usually try to keep all my party healed, which usually leads to me dealing a small ammount damage in the fight because i wasted my turns.

I try to deal too much damage without focusing on my party members' health, which ends up in casualties.

I tend to deal as much damage as possible without thinking of the other party members. I stack upgrades/potions/badges for damage and I don't focus on health upgrades.

I used to try to avoid enemys, and still do a bit now. This can result in being underleveled.
In Pokemon, I mostly stick to and level up one Pokemon.

I hit every button at many times, especially when talking to people or at a battle's end. In Pokémon, I used to only level up one team member, but now I try leveling my whole party. Also, I tend to relate an RPG's characters to people I know.

I usually just try and advance to the next area without focusing on bonuses. I also tend to avoid enemies.

In games with fixed enemy encounters, I always kill every enemy you can possibly kill. Extra XP can't hurt, am I right?

I always hit the save button about a million times before I quit an RPG game, because I get paranoid that my progress with get lost.

Oh yeah, I've done this myself too, especially in the Pokémon games, I think. I feel like losing data in those games is way worse than in any other.

Well, it depends on my party members and stats. If I have a healer on my party I set it to heal other members as they need it while I let the rest focus on the attack. It's the best way I can think of managing battles, at least until I raise their levels.

I am usually not the one who likes RPGs but if I do play one, I have a little habits on getting Money because of expensive Items at the shops and selling Items that I do not need.

I tend to work out the most sustainable battle tactics and adjust them for enemy combatants, and I try to take on every enemy unless it's clear that I've run into a rare and difficult fight. Then I aggressively attack anything that attacks me otherwise, while attempting to avoid grinding.
The idea is that I try and see what method I can use that would take the absolute longest before I'm required to visit a resting place or use my rarer healing items.
One example: I recall relying a lot on Rosa's Pray ability in FFIV DS for restoring mana. I would have Rydia stop/slow enemies before the final blow, and then heal up that way.

Sometimes I normally do not grind that often during RPGs but if I count to a difficult section, it is for me better to get higher levels in order to go further on easily...

I usually end up grinding for longer than I need to and hoarding whatever I can find.

Ah, spells. I mostly use them from my Team to the Enemies but doing so will cost your MP or as I use TP. Some RPGs you Need to use those "Skills" in order to get to 100% so you can use a combination of both of These Skills...

Another little thing I also have sometimes. Focusing on one or two team Characters because of specific skills/abilities like healing or stronger attacks. Also by lower health of course.

I tend to get tired from fighting normal enemies around the end of the game, and by the time of the final moments I just run to the end and skip as many enemies as I can.
