Help with switch palace system

So i'm working on an episode and i was thinking of a little thing but i need to figure out how to make a switch palace-like system for it to work.

It's basically a little sidequest where you have to find the switches in hidden levels to activate the switch blocks at a shop to gain easy access to power-ups.

I'll also take any suggestions/help with a shop-like system to replace it.
