Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (New York House Representative) and Grant Kirkhope (DK Voice Actor) joined hbomberguy's live stream to support trans rights and raise money for Mermaids, a charity supporting trans kids and their parents. Nearly 500k was raised and a lot of great people got this to be a success!

Has anyone else here seen this? Discuss your thoughts.

*I only use Twitch to support the small group of streamers that I followed. But I wish I was there tbh.

I heard about this because EuroActivist (who pretend to be EuroGamer) reported on this, and The Quartering then talked about that report, as the main focus was the LGBT part.

I missed the stream but heard about it through some Discord servers I'm in and then checked Twitter + the kotaku link I put in the OP. I didn't see the EuroGamer report but there's a bunch of other gaming related sites covering this pretty well.
