I am sure you have heard about Soulja Boy. He has been one the major sources of video game news from late 2018, and it seems the story will only continue.

It started with putting aout the SouljaGame handheld and the SouljaConsole, 2 chinese knock-off consoles that were resold at much higher prices with illegal ROMs on them. Then he resold the Fuze console, a console aimed at Chinese markets which failed, with a misleading price and look to suggest it would be as powerful as an Xbox One X or PS4, but actually had a processor less powerful than the one in the Switch. Then he announced a new Espsorts Franchise and was talked down to the gaming community, and the people defending Soulja said those who criticise him are racist. And then he had to take the consoles off his site.

At this point I thought the story was over. But then he sold new SouljaHandheld consoles (which looked like PS Vita knock-offs) which despite not advertising games on it, actually had illegal ROMs still. He also announced Fortnite was coming to his consoles. Now his website has been down for a few days.

What are your thoughts on this? How do you think the story will continue? Be sure to talk about any other story that comes up.

Why would you wish these things on him (although the first point is probably how this ends, while the second will not happen (though a 20 year sentence is still possible)).

Let's just say, he's trying to get some attention to become famous again.

he gets a game console, puts some decoration on it, adds a bunch of roms and then sells the console for triple the original price

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. Soulja Boy hasn't really done anything out of the ordinary with the gaming industry. You'd have to put every game publisher in jail for 50+ years if you wanted to be consistent. Idk why it's wrong for Soulja Boy to do what others have been doing all along.

Calm down, it's just an observation.

I've never heard of these before. But they look really misleading.

I just heard from Twitter, I heard that Soulja Boy's next bootleg console will have Fortnite in it....

And before y'all overreact to this, Epic Games declined the request of Fortnite being in a bootleg console.

Not sure why that would be included on the console since it was all retro games so far. The handheld did have some odd additions too though so it's not entirely out of the question to have random games like Fortnite to be included.
