Wii U ports on Nintendo Switch

There are mixed feelings within the Nintendo community on the ports for Nintendo Switch. Some praise them for providing an opportunity for players who never had a Wii U, and therefore the chance to play its games, to play them. On the other hand, the games are overpriced, with people pointing out that some of the Switch ports cost even more than what the original versions on Wii U.

What are your opinions? Should Nintendo stop? Should the ports cost less? What games do you want to see ported?

I feel like ports could have been way better if their price was halved.

I'm been hoping (Nintendo) port more WiiU games* to the Switch. ^_^"

*When I said that, I meant BOTH WiiU games and Nindies on the WiiU, like:
  • High Strangeness
  • 8-bit Hero

tbh, the wii u had some good games on it such as Mario Maker, which i'm sorta hoping they port to switch someday despite it being stated at somepoint that they had no plans to, i hope that changes at somepoint, considering the Wii U was clearly a failure considering alot of it's games are being ported too. So i'd say the ports are good but overpriced.

I feel like bumping this thread, with some on-topic discussion that's very recent on Twitter today.

Pikmin 3 is getting a Nintendo Switch Deluxe port coming later this month. So when does the indie games on the WiiU getting this treatment?
