The Mafia forum has been closed

Thank you to all those who have made Mafia such a success over the last few years. It has been a great, positive addition to SMBX forums for quite a long while, however due to the lack of activity and interest as of recent we have decided to end SMBX forums Mafia after 54 full games. A shout-out to all of our Gamemasters over the years who have helped make Mafia such a success and kept the game running.

Though it is not definitive, I regret saying that it is unlikely at this point that SMBX forums Mafia will see the light of day again; even with no regular season games and solely special events, we have been unable to maintain a consistent active userbase to get it back up and running, or even enough to run small games, and I find it difficult to see this happening again.

If you're interested in continuing to play Mafia consider checking out various sites and communities, such as EpicMafia and MafiaScum.

We will leave #mafia open on the SMBX Discord for a little while longer so that you can leave your final words there.
