Everything seems fine when I play until roughly every 5 - 10 seconds I get very brief fraction of a second hiccups. Not sure how to explain it, it's like the game just jerks around, and for that brief fraction of a second my inputs dont tend to work. just wondering if anyone had a fix or resolve for this, or if it's just something to expect from the application.

What version are you using?

Can you show a GIF? And is your computer solid?

Hope this is enough for my system info. I will try to produce some kind of vid to display the problem. I've been watching vids of other people play and It does not look like I'm the only one who gets this issue. Just to note im not using the level editor (yet), just testing and playing the custom maps by the community.

the version of smbx I am using is 1.3.0.1

1.3.0.1 had some very occasional lags on my old windows 7 computer. Maybe a different version (1.4.4 or SMBX2) runs better?

SMBX2 should run better (unless you have bad specs, but that does not look like the case for you).

Thanks for the responses. Is appreciated. I am using win 7 so that may be a factor. SMBX2 does seem to work though I'm having trouble with both smbx versions not registering both my controllers. I was hoping to use both versions as I've heard maps are not cross compatible.

Was not aware SMBX2 could run any file so i switched to that and it runs fine. also figured out JoytoKey. thanks again.
